Jonathan White
General Counsel Central Carolina Community College
Bio
Meet Jonathan, the Overworked General Counsel of Central Carolina Community College!
When he’s not untangling legal red tape that rivals a Christmas lights disaster, you can find Jonathan buried under a mountain of paperwork, sipping his fifth cup of coffee and wondering if "pro bono" is a type of pasta. With a law degree that's about a decade old, Jonathan specializes in deciphering policies that make ancient hieroglyphics look like child's play.
He's a proud advocate for faculty and staff rights, even if it means explaining for the hundredth time that "no, you can't file a grievance because the copier is possessed." In his spare time (ha!), he enjoys long walks to the break room and practicing his “calm and collected” face for faculty meetings.
When life gives him lemons, he files them under "pending litigation." Join him on his quest to tackle the wild world of grant writing—preferably without any surprise lawsuits or last-minute chaos!
