Chris is a seasoned Financial Services professional with over 24 years’ experience in various roles across the industry. These roles include Retirement Planning, Due Diligence, Portfolio Analyst, and Institutional Consulting. Before joining the Atlanta Consulting Group, Chris was a Regional Director of Sales for Sierra Investment Management, responsible for 5 states in the Southeast. He grew this territory from virtually nothing to over $420 million in 6 years.
Chris is an accomplished veteran of the Financial Services industry, with extensive experience developing partnerships, driving results within wealth management product ecosystems, and collaborating with diverse portfolio managers. He has broad relationships, built on years of trust and collaboration, with investment professionals across Wirehouses, Regionals, and RIAs. His wide-ranging experience and keen awareness of how market dynamics affect financial portfolios have made him a thought leader among peers.
Chris received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Georgia State University. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary and the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor designations. Chris and his wife Amy have two teenagers – Haley and Shawn. They live in Kennesaw, GA with their two dogs – Bonnie and Clyde.

Faced with weighty challenges in endowment administration, reporting, budgeting, fundraising, turnover, and more, Lynwood will share how he transformed his organization with winning results. Highlights include when he met Adavico’s COO Jason Edwards, the technology solution that revolutionized his foundation’s trajectory, and how he grew his endowment by over 50% from $2.2M to $3.4M!

Jason Edwards

Bio
Jason Edwards joined Adavico in 2018 as the chief operating officer and is instrumental in advancing Adavico’s software and client services divisions. A seasoned veteran of endowments, sub-accounting systems, and pooled fund administration, he focuses on creating company-wide best practices and enhancing product and service offerings.
Before Adavico, Jason served as vice president of finance and administration at North Carolina Wesleyan University. He has also served in executive roles within an investment services administration firm and owned and managed a transfer agent providing services to over 100 pooled products.
Jason holds a B.S. in Accounting from North Carolina Wesleyan University. Furthermore, his experiential learning of UPMIFA and FASB compliance standards offers valuable expertise for endowment administration.
Lynwood Roberson
Executive Director Edgecombe Community College Foundation
Bio
Lynwood Roberson became executive director of the Edgecombe Community College Foundation in 2018. An experienced fundraiser and nonprofit executive, Lynwood’s experience with donor engagement, recruitment, retention, and board development has been pivotal to the growth and success over the past five years with the Edgecombe Community College Foundation.
Prior to the Edgecombe Community College Foundation, Lynwood spent 25 years in executive-level nonprofit management with Boys and Girls Clubs, the American Red Cross, and the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association. Over his 30-year nonprofit career, Lynwood has raised millions of dollars in service to citizens across North Carolina.
Lynwood holds a B.S. in Justice and Public Policy from North Carolina Wesleyan University. He also holds certificates from the Duke Center for Nonprofit Management.

Bio
Brenda Reash has served as Executive Director for the Carteret Community College Foundation since March 2016. She has been with Carteret Community College since January 2008. In this role, she works to strengthen and develop the interest and needs of Carteret Community College. The college represents one of 58 in the North Carolina Community College System.
Prior to accepting her current position, Reash served as the Director of the President’s Office at Carteret Community College. During her time in the position of Executive Director, the Foundation has developed new relationships, created cultural events and trips for the community, created three new annual fund raising events and redeveloped the website.
